THE INDIANA ASSOCIATION of Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches (IATCCC) honors the accomplishments of Indiana athletes through its annual hall of fame nominations and recognition

The 1962 4x440 Relay had a very interesting season competing against Gary Roosevelt throughout the year, winning the sectional and the state finals, while only losing to Roosevelt in the regional. 

Terry Lakes

Terry Lakes graduated from Richmond High School and Eastern Kentucky University where he ran at an elevated level. His 35 years of coaching concluded with 32 years at Marion High School. 

Kevin Horrigan

Kevin Horrigan spent 40 years teaching, coaching and as athletic director at St Andrew’s Grade School, Chatard High School, Brebeuf Jesuit, Lawrence Central High School and Greenfield-Central High School. 

Fred Geswein

Fred Geswein coached for 22 years at Clarksville Providence High School with much success and then became the University of Louisville’s coach from 1981 to 1987. 

Drew Volz

Drew Volz started his athletic career in the Smithville Little League at age five. Baseball was ”the life", including all-stars and travel ball. He was drawn to the vault by older brother Drake and during his freshman year he split winning every meet (50-50) with Drake, while also spending time with the JV baseball team. Drake qualified for the IHSAA state finals and Drew missed by a place, putting baseball permanently in the rear view mirror. 

Deakin Volz

Deakin Volz attended Bloomington South High School, the third of three sons of Olympian David Volz. As a freshman, Volz was conference, sectional and regional champ and eighth at the State Finals with a PR 14-9. As a sophomore, he was conference (15-0 tying record), sectional (setting a PR 16-4), regional and state runnerup. In the summer, he was the USATF Youth Champion and the Junior Olympic National Champion. 

Anna Rohrer

Anna Rohrer graduated from Mishawaka High School in 2015 as a two-time cross country and four-time track IHSAA state champion, two-time Foot Locker national champion and two-time New Balance track national champion. 

Sara Fields (Hamidovic)

Sara Fields excelled as a thrower at Bloomington North High School, placing in the IHSAA State Finals in each of her years 1997 to 2000, winning the gold in 2000 and Mental Attitude Award. 

Felisha Johnson

Felisha Johnson started her budding career at Scecina Memorial High School as a basketball player. Transferring to Lawrence North High School, she felt that she needed another sport to balance her basketball success and chose the throwing events of track and field, where success duplicated that of basketball and in fact led her to two IHSAA State Finals championships in the shot put in 2007 and 2008.

Rachel Dincoff

Rachel Dincoff is a decorated American discus thrower and track and field athlete known for her powerful performances in the sport. She graduated from Dekalb High School with three IHSAA State Finals medals.
